Church Army Evangelism and Mission Desk
This is just an introduction explaining all the things i get involved in with the Church Army evangelism and Mission desk.
I am delighted to share many things that I have seen happen in the ministry the Lord has called us to participate in. I’ve been reflecting on “the mission” (The Great Commission) and am regularly reminded that the work is too important and the task too large to do alone.
In the course of this year, we had several missions to different Dioceses which were successful and some where we were not to meet the cost.
The missions to Kajiado involved a partnership with Life Ministry Team to facilitate the training of church leaders and pastors in the areas of church planting, discipleship. We had three missions to Kajiado Diocese in different Archdeaconries.
We held a week-long teaching seminar in Namanga Parish with 40 participants including 25 church leaders and 15 pastors. Over 500 people were exposed to the life of Christ through The Jesus Film.
We also had a meeting held in Oloitokitok which was for the training of pastors and church leaders. Both the clergy and the laity leadership were well represented and the overall attendance was high and we managed to discuss a lot of issues involving the parish and as a result the meeting was very successful.
Our desk is a huge part of Church Army's main vision of transforming the society around us and involves a lot of work around kenya and East Africa. But we want to expand our missions and evangelize all across Africa. Please pray that God would open up opportunities for us to do so, so that we can expand His Kingdom.
